Dr. Jennifer Taeko Rittenberry, MD

I have gone to Dr Rittenberry for at least 10 yrs. I am from a family of 5 MDs, and 4 RNs of which I am one. She is the only Dr. I have been to since I have lived in Columbus (28Yrs) that I would recommend. She has always taken her time with me, explaining, comforting, educating and encouraging. She has never been judgmental or condescending. Im a horrible patient rarely doing what I am told and she has never shamed me or made me feel bad. I always leave her office feeling like I can do this. She has a great sense of humor, always professional, I cant say enough good about her and her staff. If you dont like this Dr....youre not going to like anyone.

I have never been more dissatisfied with a doctor. She is very moody and unprofessional. You may have one visit and seem impressed only to find out who she really is the next time. She has her mind made up as far as what treatment options she likes and does not take into account personal reactions to medications. I should have researched more before I wasted my time. I now have a doctor who listens and cares. He runs appropriate tests and doesn't just throw me on a medicine without extensive testing. Some of the office staff are very nice and others are extremely rude. I think Dr. Reddy (her partner) is why this office has decent reviews. I have heard good things about her. Save your energy though and go somewhere else. Do your homework and advocate for yourself.

I think she and her PA are great- She let me try out different thyroid medications until I found one I was happy with. I don't have any issues with her or her staff.

I realize that doctors have a lot on their plate. I have gone to Dr. Rittenberry for 3 years and I have had it. The last visit was my last. She was derogatory to me, basically slammed me for not paying attention and wasting her time. We are human. Having type 1 diabetes is not easy and after having it for 40 years, I will have set backs. She does not walk in my shoes nor does she have sympathy to those who do. Do not go to her if you need some compassion. She has none.

She and her staff were rude. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have had two appointments so far and I am very satisfied with services I received. I am feeling a lot better, my vitals are a lot better, and she put me on a plan I can life with and help improve my health. I highly recommend Dr. Rittenberry, MD and her staff.

Doctor was dressed for a night at a club. Staff was rude. Wait was ridiculous.

Please do not see this so called doctor!! She just wants money to spend on her looks and cloths when I am a cancer patient and have to wait WEEKS for any results. Any call to the office does not get answered and they don't call back for days! For scan results and lab results I had to constantly call and leave messages only to get an insensitive and non descriptive message on her patient portal when I asked for a phone call so I could ask questions! When riverside had my scans done they said Dr. Rittenberry would have my results that same day and it took over two weeks!!! And those scans were supposed to tell me if I still had cancer left and all I got was a message saying my "treatment went well" and another uninterpreted lab that says the words remnant found. So I had an emotional break down because she can't call to interpret results! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!

Great!!! I never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room. She answered all of my questions, and provided me with excellent diabetes treatment!!!!

You will spend forever in the waiting room. If you are in a crisis mode, you will be unable to contact her other than by email on the DECO website. To get an appointment even when are in crisis will take 6 months. If you leave a message for the nurse, the records states, "Please allow 48 hours for your call to be returned". I have been in the hospital 4 times this year and they have all been related to thyroid and cortisol levels. She never came to any of the hospitals and a gastroenologist is the one that finally made the cortisol diagnois. It did not seem to matter to her or her staff that I was not producing enough cortisol or my hyperthyroid state was jumping up and down in numbers. I am now switching to the Tallo & associates group because I am tired of letting doctor's make me feel they are superior and I am an idiot.
