Dr. Jennifer Jane Roelands, MD

First off, last year, I received information that my pap was normal. This year, was told at my yearly that the results were actually abnormal last year. Also at this year's appointment, I requested to get a new birth control. Dr. Roelands said she would call my pharmacy with a 3 month prescription for the new birth control that same day (on a Thursday). I called my pharmacy the following Tuesday about picking up the birth control which had never been sent in. My current birth control was also out of refills which Dr. Roelands knew about, so she said she would be SURE to get my new script called in. So that same Tuesday, I called the office and the nurse said she would tell Dr. Roelands to send a renewal notice. On Wednesday, I went to my pharmacy and the script STILL wasn't called in. Thursday they were closed, and Friday Dr. Roelands wasn't in. Called today (Monday), and Dr. Roelands still wasn't in. Also found out during today's phone call that Dr. Roelands hadn't even made a note… that I requested a change in birth control even though she told me she was debating between two different birth controls to put me on. Overall, Dr. Roelands doesn't seem to listen to her patients, and other people I know that have come to her said she doesn't spend the time to do her job properly and they feel as if they are an inconvenience. I will be finding another doctor.
