Dr. Jennifer Lani Schwab, MD

I would not recommend Dr Schwab. She seemed kind enough during my prenatal care but was horribly rude and selfish during labor and delivery. She pushed for actions of care (speeding up labor) that, when pushed for a reason, said it's because she was tired; she'd been on call a long time and needed to go to bed. I understand that, but I still need proper medical care. She nearly declined my request for an epidural and told me "You need to just let me do my job. You're at a hospital. You're here to have a baby, so let's HAVE A BABY!" Needless to say, I cried when she left her shift, my labor progressed 10x faster after she left and another Dr delivered my baby.

Very rude, does not seem very welcoming. Extremely quick to tell a patient that they are overweight. Doesn’t discuss anything else.
