Dr. Jennifer Chalfin Simmons, MD

Dr. Simmons and her friendly employees/staff are accepting of me and who I am without any judgement. Open- minded. Quality patient care with best possible outcome for me is her top priority. They're very protective with speaking amongst one another and with me in making certain other patients don't overhear my private medical information. What a relief this is not having employees yelling info. back and forth. Her goal is to Minimize my suffering in meeting my needs with upcoming surgeries to live a more manageable, comfortable and happier life. She not only listened to all my answers, but really heard me. She understood my concerns and presented hers as well. She took the time and was not rushed to get to her next patient which made me feel as if I matter and deserving to be treated with respect like everyone (regardless of gender(s) and sex, etc.) should, want and need to be. She is knowledgeable, honest and personable. Made me feel comfortable during exam while… explaining things clearly. I'm looking forward to having my medically needed surgeries soon to move forward in life for my my best overall health and happiness. M~

The experience was the worst. First, it is impossible to schedule an appointment. The staff does not take calls during their office hours, they take your number and promise to call back, but do not call. I am new to the area, and had to bring information from my old doctor. The staff would not schedule an appointment until I had submitted to them all information, although I promised to bring it with me. This office and doctor are in the business of making money not helping people.

I was seeing another doctor there who left and was a better match for me personality-wise. This one doesn't any sense of humor at all. Not very warm. She is kind of obsessed with healthy eating. She didn't have a lab coat on. I want my doctors in lab coats. But I guess that is my hangup.

Thank you Dr.Simmons for taking care of me.You and your staff did everything to ease my anxiety and fear.The operation went well without any pain or discomfort (just like you promised). May God always guide your hands while you are saving women lives.

Definitely would recmmend to a men or women if you Need a breast surgeon some one to hold your hand no Breast Surgeon excellent .

I saw Dr. Simmons for evaluation of an abnormal mammogram. Biopsy confirmed cancer. She saw me the day she got the results. Dr. Simmons was very kind and caring. Her explanation of my options was straighforward and complete, and she took the time to make sure I understood.I recommend Dr. Simmons, without reservation, to any woman dealing with breast cancer. She is the best.

The office called & asked me to come in a different day then my original appt. I did. I waited over an hour to be seen with no explanation. The doctor walks into the office. She did not even introduce herself or apologize for the wait. She looked at my mammo then did a breast exam. She then tells me she can't say for certain weather what they are seeing on the mammo is cancerous...ok I can understand that. The problem is instead of recommending either a 4 or 6 month follow up mammo or recommending a biopsy, she tells me it is totally up to me what I want to do, either wait or have biopsy. I knew nothing different than before I went in there. I couldve saved myself the time & the copay. Her whole mannerism was cold & uncaring. Hopefully she will read this and reevaluate how she treats patients. I will say the person (I believe it was a nurse)who came in before the Dr & took my history, was sooo nice 7 friendly

Dr. Simmons quickly diagnosed my problem, took care of me quickly and I'm on the road to recovery!!! Thanks Dr. Simmons, Stella (you're the greatest!) and staff.
