Dr. Jennifer Ann Sluder, MD

Had a phone call appointment with this pediatrician via Kaiser because I was not able to get an in person appointment for my one year old baby. Dr. Sluder was 0 help, 0 sympathy. What a horrible experience. She kept condescendingly repeating “I can’t diagnose over the phone” when I was clearly not asking her to diagnose and only asked for tips to help my baby feel better. What a waste of time.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son suffered a major asthma attack during his appointment and she stood there and stared at him. She told him to calm down and to stop throwing a temper tantrum as he was crying saying “Mom I can’t breathe!” Thankfully the RTs heard and ran in and got his oxygen level back to somewhat normal. He was hospitalized for 3 weeks!

She is great with kids. She is patient, caring, and explains everything in terms kids understand.

Dr. Sluder is the primary care physician for all three of my children and I could not be any happier. She is kind and attentive to their needs as patients, as well as mine as a parent. She has been nothing but professional and friendly on all our visits and I hope to continue with Dr. Sluder until my children are old enough to pass on to an adult primary care physician.

Not a very good urgent care doctor. No critical thinking skills. Child was not worked up at all by this Doctor.
