Dr. Jennifer Lynn Stern

Really, really, really bad communication skills within Nurse Jennifer Stern's team to the point where my care was severely neglected. A VERY treatable derm issue went grossly undertreated, despite my clear communication of worsening condition in my patient messaging and repeated phone calls to ask for additional help. I was flat out denied any treatment twice by a receptionist who had no clue what was going on (I had to threaten going to outpatient and explaining my doctor refused to offer me treatment before I was taken seriously). At one point the derm issue got so bad that I experienced refractory spots all over my body and succumbed to a secondary infection after being forced to maintain the primary infection for a prolonged time. It got so bad it hurt to walk. After months without relief (from, again, a VERY treatable derm issue) I just stopped showing up since the appointments were an actual waste of time. Of course, no one ever followed up. I have since experienced additional… complications because of this prolonged experience. It doesn't matter how nice one clinician seems; if they can't communicate with their team they won't take care of you right. Save yourself. Don't go.
