Dr. Jennifer I Stern, MD

After ordering a series of tests for my headaches to check for some conditions, Dr Stern asked me if I was willing to first try some lifestyle changes before going forward. Being very motivated to not take prescription drugs, I followed her recomendations. I adjusted my eating habits and joined an exercise class for seniors (three days a week). I also started walking about a mile most days. Besides significantly helping my headaches, as an aside, I lost a few pounds. I told her on my followup appointment that I was very happy with my progress and I wanted to continue with the changes to see if the headaches continue to improve over time.

Dr Stern was really concerned about helping me overcome my bad headaches. The headaches were interfering with my work and family life. I am doing so much better now following her diagnosis and treatment plan.

This doctor found a serious problem that 3 other doctors missed - I would recommend her highly to all my family and friends.

I made an appointment with Dr. Stern on recommendation of my Internist. I have always been prone to headaches, but the headaches had been becoming increasingly severe - almost unbearable. Dr. Stern showed real concern for my pain and told me that we would find out what was happening. She ordered a series of tests after which she reassured me that she could help. She recommended a few lifestyle changes and also prescribed some medication for me. My headaches are so very much better now and I have gotten back to my normal life.

Very poor on follow up after visit. Bedside manner very distant almost like a robot. Had 2 appointments rescheduled because doctor was going to be out of office. Not very good at describing all the possible side effects of medications. Wait time for being seen was very very fast. Parking is easy at the office
