Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Tran developed a passion for dentistry in high school while working in her brother’s dental office. A proud Hokie, she graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology, and then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Her fondest dental school memories include externships providing free dental care across the state and participating in the VCU Jamaica Project, Christian Dental Society, and Virginia Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy Projects. Dr. Tran advocates for patient education, forming strong doctor-patient relationships by involving patients in the treatment planning process and addressing their concerns. Committed to expanding her dental knowledge and community service, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.
