Dr. Jennifer Trapp, MD

Notice how all the good reviews have no comments... She does NOT care about you, multiple family members have gone to her and she dismissed all of their ailments saying that they have normal day-to-day symptoms, prescribed some pain killers and sent them off. Guess what, she was dead wrong 3 out of 4 times and is probably wrong about the 4th one but we do not know about it yet. 3 out of 4 times, they actually needed surgery, but she dismissed them without sending them to specialized care for months! In fact, one of them had to get a second opinion to finally get the care needed! Not only do I not recommend her, I implore everyone to get a different doctor than her. Her apathy is dangerous!

I can not express how disappointed I am in Dr. Trapp. She was not prepared for my annual wellness exam. She hadn't reviewed my family history or any of my resent medical history. She showed little interest in my concerns. I had a few small abnormalities in my lab work and when I used Follow My Health to ask questions, she did not pay enough attention to my notes to answer my questions. I received partial answers and some questions were ignored. I am in my 60s and can truly say I have never had a physician who seemed to care less about me than Dr. Trapp.

Very dismissive, spent very little time with patient, tends to over prescribe medications

If I could give this untrustworthy, disgusting, uncaring, dismissive so called doctor a zero star I would. Dr Trapp does not care about your well being and only cares about the money. I sent a message to her on the Sharp follow my health regarding filling out FMLA papers and she replied back that she needed for me to schedule an appointment. Which meant I would get charged $270 for the office visit. When I went to see her I gave her the papers and told her that my brother just died and my aunt & father are also dying and I needed to take leave off work. I am at the point of having a mental breakdown and just need some time off work to Help collect my thoughts and to help my family & myself to deal with the pain! Well when I told her this she said she couldn’t sign my papers. She could only give me a note for a few days. Then Told me to call another doctor and sent me away!

I found Dr Trapp to be rude dismissive uncaring did not even want to listen to symptoms of the patient after waiting 1 hour for her and an insult to the medical community of health professionals who actually care about their patients

Dr. Trapp was rude and unhelpful. Without actually examining the patient, Dr. Trapp suggested the symptoms were caused by mental problems. A trip to another doctor found a cardiac issue as well as a nutritional deficit in the patient. The patient nearly died!! Our family will never go back to Sharp.

She was very dismissive and quick to blame aches and pains on depression and anxiety. It is easy to get an appointment with her - I think her poor bedside manner and lack of genuine concern for the patient may be why!! I went to another doctor and found out I had a dangerous physical issue - not just a "anxiety related" illness.

I was terribly disappointed with her service. My wife had scheduled a post-partum checkup with her for 3-4 concerns (other than the OB_GYN). This was informed to her over the phone as well as to the nurse who checked us in. But she walks in 25 mins late and says she has time for juts 1-2 concerns and we should schedule another visit for the remaining concerns. Nice way to loot the patients with the co-pay as well as the insurance companies. She stayed with us for just 5 mins.
