I only go to the doctor when I am really sick, Dr Vacca is too busy trying to get me to do all this preventative medicine to listen to why I am there. I have a sore throat- I don't care if I need a mammogram. I know my body and know when something is wrong, don't just minimalize my symptoms and dismiss me Very judgmental, impatient and impersonal

No human empathy. Should not be in the healthcare profession. Nurses say she is nonprofessional ... very moody and does not work well with staff. With patients, she is also just going through the motions trying to get through her workday. She shows no interest in being a health care provider to help patients. She is in over her head and takes it out on staff and patients depending on her mood for the day. I understand that doctors are under an extreme amount of stress from their employers (Kaiser in Dr Vacca's case). Health care is under duress due to this, but also due to people in the profession who give up on the system (i.e. CARING for patients, bedside manner, treating staff with respect and gratefulness for their help) themselves and then their patients do not receive proper care or time. This doctor is not confident in herself as a doctor and uses her intimidation tactics disguised behind moodiness to cover up her own insecurities as a doctor. I am a patient very disappointed in… a system that does not care for people and a system which does not reward health care professionals who do excel at providing exceptional health care to their patients. Doctors like Dr Vacca just perpetuate treating people poorly. If a nurse is treated with grumpiness, disrespect, and an attitude of I'm better than you because I'm the doctor, how will that nurse treat their next patient? It is a perpetuating cycle. I would suggest starting with treating your coworkers with respect and as though they are equals, then do the same with your patients, and then you can say that even in a broken system, you had integrity and cared about the people around you every day. Otherwise, health care is not the place you should be.

She was the 1st Dr., after years of being turned away, to listen to me and believe me that something was wrong. She spent 6 months trying to figure it out, and she did. Now I am in less oain, can function, and I have more of my life back. And it's thanks to her.

Dr. Vacca was my PCP. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor and was seeking reconstructive surgery after a double mastectomy that was complicated by MERSA. I submitted to her my Medical History which she never reviewed or had it entered into my medical records they were lost! I asked her for to write a letter to my employer explaining why I was presently unable to return to work which she refused. Then asked a referral for reconstructive surgery within KPMG. She never advised me of my rights or that I seek an advocate. On the next visit I told her that I was not feeling good couldn't sleep, hot n cold flashes no energy and requested that she order blood. work up - instead she wanted me to see a shrink. This so called Dr. needs read my Medical history and stop giving me more prescriptions never once did she exam me only typed on the computer. I wonder how much she receives in bonuses by capitating cost - I wouldn't let her treat my goldfish ! Beware of this Quack. We grew up trusting… Doctors believing that they had your best interest not anymore it's all about there pocket !

Not a good doctor. Does not listen to the patient or take their concerns seriously. Always in a rush. Horrible bedside manner.

She is great and she will spend a lot of time with you if you like and she is really good at answering all of your questions. She is the best I have had yet.
