Summary
I genuinely enjoy providing care for others. I am also grateful to spend time with my husband, three daughters and dogs. I love to be outdoors, whether it involves taking a walk, hiking in the woods or watching my daughters’ soccer games.I have been given the opportunity to learn and practice medicine in acute care environments (hospital and ICU) for the first two decades of my career. During that time that I observed the detrimental effect of quality of life due to cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, or cognitive degeneration, I developed a desire to study preventative medicine. I now look forward to educating patients on lifestyle medicine practices that can help reduce their risk of developing chronic medical conditions and improve quality of life.
