Worst doctor ! At 8 CM. And she was eating her lunch in the cafeteria. Left me alone through it all. My sisters had to help me deliver. No JOME

As a new patient- one would think you would be treated differently than what I am about to disclose here on Vitals. I visited this physician as a new patient for a yearly woman physical. I have extensive family history of female problems including cancer. I have wonderful insurance that agrees with all my diagnosis and they reimburse every test necessary to keep me healthy and hopefully not follow the path of my close relatives. Upon my arrival I gave my history etc and planned to elaborate on specific areas once the physician came into the exam room. I undressed and sat on the table and in just a few minutes a woman walked in- not introduce herself- her name badge was old and unreadable and began to harrass me - argue with me and tell me what she wasn't going to do- she refused a pap smear etc - stating guidelines that onviously don''t apply to me and even if they did- I had the right to ask for such tests. She proceeded to argue and antagonize me until I stood up - dressed … myself-'asked her to stop talking and left the room. As I exited - I told the front desk I would not be returning and one had the nerve to ask me to 'check out' I am an extremely bright and educated female who confirmed with my insurance before and after my appt that indeed I was correct and had the right to ask for such tests that were covered. I was told by this physician that just because my insurance would reimburse doesn't mean I could have the tests. Offended and obviously astonished that someone like this could practice medicine- I still was not sure exactly who I had spoken with- this woman walked in in scrubs and did not introduce herself or address me by my name at all- She immediately began to provoke and argue with me- never answering my one and only question- Have you read my history? Do you know my history? As I left the room she continued speaking to me like I was an idiot even after I asked her to stop speaking to me. I still wasn't sure ezactly who this woman was until I got into my car and googled this physician to see a picture- Indeed it was the same woman. I would not recommend this ohysician to anyone and would hope that any patient that sees her- has the ability to become educated-stand up fo themselves as I did - and take their care elsewhere- Again - let me stress that the tests I asked for were confrmed and approved by my insurance but were not supported by the mentality of this physician. I would not reckmmend this 'physician' to ANYONE.

Dr. Winesburg is an absolute professional and excellent physician and surgeon! The office staff is always courteous. She performed a DaVinci Hysterectomy and it could not have gone better. I had no pain after 24 hrs of surgery and went back to work 5 days of surgery. I recommend Dr. Winesburg and the DaVinci procedure to anyone considering a hysterectomy. The surgery and results have been life changing and I thank Dr. Winesburg for her expertise in diagnosis of my condition and quick resolution when other physicians have overlooked. Thank you Dr. Winesburg!

Dr. Winesburg is an excellent doctor. She spent over an hour with me answering my questions. She is very knowledgeable and down to earth. I felt like I was talking to my best friend. Her office staff is super friendly and helpful. I've referred several of my friends, and they all adore her.

I did not like this doctor at all!! I was seeing her for my 9weeks ultrasound in the beginning of my pregnancy and she would not let anyone but my husband in the ultrasound room. She said "I know you think this is special but more than one person is too much". So that was a disappointment when I had 3 other family members that came to the appointment hoping to hear the babies heartbeat. We also asked her if everything looked normal with the pregnancy and she said "So far...". What the heck is that supposed to mean?? You don't say that to someone who has been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years! I mean, she made me feel like something might go wrong soon. I did not like her at all and hopefully she is not one of the three doctors in my practice that will deliver my baby in a couple of months!
