Dr. Jennifer Moriatis Wolf, MD

I saw Dr Wolf several days ago as a follow up from my previous surgeon, retired Dr Mass. Dr. Mass was excellent and actually listens to you. I’m coming off of two surgeries for my wrist with Dr. Mass. I was hit by a car at work. When I saw Dr. Wolf she judged me immediately because I was on Workmen’s Comp, and off of work for the past two years. I’m a police officer and in my line of work I need my right hand.i had a tfcc repair and subsequent ulnar nerve release. Both surgeries have not helped. Dr Wolf basically wants me to go back in a light duty capacity with one hand at 100 percent and the other at 30 percent. She did not like DR Mass’s work and wants to remove screws. I’m going to get another opinion because her bedside manner needs a bit of work. In my opinion Dr Wolf doesn’t care about her patients and made me feel as if I were lying about my pain. Can’t speak for her surgery, but not very friendly to work comp patients.

Had her nurse tell me that she had seen my condition before, get there - she tells me what she "thinks" she would do - affirming she has never seen my condition before. Bills me $750 for less than 10 minutes in the room wither her. And then has the nerve to ask the doctor who did perform my surgery to record it. Stay Clear!

Dr Wolf is not someone I'd ever see again. I would NEVER EVER recommend her to anyone else. She was extremely rude to her staff and me. She was is a hurry, looked at my hand/wrist quickly and told me that my symptoms didnt match what she was seeing. She kept interrupting me and talking over me when I tried to ask questions. She didn't answer any of my concerns, told me she would be right back and left me sitting for almost another hour while I was waiting for an anti inflammatory injection. Her APRN who sees patients on Their first visit was equally as rude and extremely rough when examining me. She twisted my wrist which brought me to tears, the. She asked me "what's wrong with you ?" There's too much ego at play here and they are both a horrible representation of the UCONN team. DO NOT make an appt with this doctor, you'll regret it.

Dr. Wolf was very kind, and explained everything very carefully. I liked the office in Southington, it was very clean, and the whole staff was very helpful!
