Dr. Jennifer Lynn Wurst, MD

When I first came to see Dr. Wurst I explained that I was feeling tired and depressed and had severe cyclic symptoms. I had a hunch that my problem may be hormonal. I asked her to do a full blood panel and to check everything she could think of. I also specifically asked her if she would check my hormone levels and she flat out refused to because I smoke. She said the ONLY way to treat hormonal issues was to go on birth control and because I smoke that she wouldn’t even bother to check them for me. I begged her to please check because that may have been the thing that would have helped me to stop smoking but she wouldn’t. The way she went about it was rude also. I asked her can you check my hormone levels and she said nope very smugly. She said you smoke. I said ok but can you check them she said nope. She said the only thing we do with hormonal problems is give you birth control and since you smoke I’m not going to bother. I got the results of the rest of the blood panel and never… went back after.

I have been going to Dr. Jen for about a year now & as far as doctors go she is very thorough. Takes her time & listens to all of my concerns & always does a follow up within 2 weeks of any new medications. She is definitely firm with her recommendations but I would still recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor. Firm gets results :)

Worst service, worst staff, attitude when you call and absolutely uncalled for dialogue during appointment. Very unprofessional and rude.

She blatently told me to quit nursing school halfway through because I have RA and wouldn't be a good nurse.

I would recommend Dr Jennifer to just about anyone. She is pretty thorough in the entire "whats wrong with me" process.The office staff leaves a lot to be desired, their phone demeanor is poor at best and they are not very friendly.

Dr. Jen is great! She's easy to talk to and takes the time to figure out is wrong with you. The staff where she practices leave alot to be desired but I figure thats the price you pay for a great doctor!

I am on a weight loss program and Dr. Jennifer is extremely caring, supportive and motivational. I have also been very pleased with her tx on other medical concerns. Overall, I would highly recommend her to persons in the southwest Parma area.

Want a dose of politics with your medicine? This is the place for you. She is generally friendly, but her office and Parma hospital (The hospital tasked with performing their laboratory tests) have a tendency to lose test results. I would go somewhere else.
