She spent another year there for a residency in advanced training in general dentistry. Since then, she has worked in various private practices ranging from solo dentist in an absent owner practice to being one of many dentists in a multi specialty practice. She has ten years of experience in all phases of general dentistry.
Dr. Young has a special interest in treating periodontal disease (gum disease) with her Millenium perio laser. The procedure LANAP is the only FDA approved patented procedure to treat periodontal disease. In addition to LANAP, she also enjoys cosmetic dentistry including veneers and crowns. Dr. Young enjoys treating patients of all ages, even as young as two!
On a personal level, when Dr. Young is not working, she loves having quality time with her family (children Kelly and Tom) and friends. And, …when time allows, you will find Dr. Young hiking, swimming, cycling, playing tennis, and all things outdoors.
