She spent another year there for a residency in advanced training in general dentistry. Dr. Young has a special interest in treating periodontal disease (gum disease) with her Millenium perio laser. The procedure LANAP is the only FDA approved patented procedure to treat periodontal disease. In addition to LANAP, she also enjoys cosmetic dentistry including veneers and crowns. Dr. Young enjoys treating patients of all ages, even as young as two!
