First appointment went extremely well. Dr. Diep was thorough and answered questions I had. She was pleasant and easy to talk to about my condition and concerns. I really appreciate her understanding and compassion.

just now Her office staff is diabolical! I also see that I'm not the only one who feels that way. Don't even try calling for records or information. They clearly hate their jobs (and seemingly life in general). There are plenty of doctors in the NYC area who appreciate their patients, this is definitely not one of them.

Very rude and lack patience

I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012 and she was so patient with me and answered any questions I had. whenever I leave a message for her she calls me back promptly.

Dr. Diep was professional, warm, caring and took time to explain my condition. Her examination was very thorough and she got back to me herself, as soon as she knew the results from the lab work. I definitely recommend her without hesitation. She's outstanding!

I found Dr. Diep to be exceptionally professional and very caring. She asked lots of questions about my medical history (which is time consuming and therefore something many doctors try to avoid), and spent lots of time with me. She followed up with the results of my tests promptly.

I rarely if ever write reviews but after this experience I think it is important to do this. I saw Dr. Diep last year after having intense pain in my knees, ankles, and feet. This happened during the night with stiffness in the morning. I also had swelling and pain after exercise and walking. I had gained 10 pounds because of the pain and being depressed about it. I want to note I am 32 years old and I wore a size 8-10. She basically said you are over weight and that is why you have pain. I explained I was on an exercise plan and was trying to eat properly. She condescendingly said " calories in calories out" ", "I don't have to excercise". Basically, she made me feel like crap. She took blood and ran some tests. Later she Informed me there was nothing wrong but she could give me pain killers. I did not want pain killers for pain she could not explain. I denied them. Over the course of the next year I lost 22 pounds and wear a size two. I still have the same pain and swelling and… forced myself to continue the routine. Finally I sent myself to physical therapy. The therapist said my joints were out of line because of a mechanical issue. She sent me to an orthopedist who sent me for an MRI. Turns out I have osteoarthritis in both knees and possibly in both feet. I requested Jenny Diep's report and she noted in the report that I had a mechanical issue and possibly something akin to fibromyalgia. Did she mention any of this to me? NO. She just said I was overweight. Therefore, I spent a year forcing myself to push through pain that actually did more damage to my knees. She should have sent me to a physical therapist immediately because of the mechanical issue she noted. I feel extremely angry and let down and disgusted that she just suggested I was fat and that was all that was wrong. I was overweight by about 10 pounds and close to my suggested BMI but that was an easy answer and she took it. Which I feel is pathetic considering I was overweight because I have osteoarthritis at 32. Now I am only allowed to ride a bike and swim. I am to reduce walking and impact exercise which is pretty much what I did to lose the weight.
