Dr. Jenny Lam, MD

Jenny Lam, MD, is a transplant surgeon with Scripps Center for Organ and Cell Transplantation. She specializes in abdominal organ transplantation, including liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, as well as hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery. She is particularly interested in minimally invasive surgical approaches and the comprehensive management of end-stage organ failure. Dr. Lam is dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate and evidence-based care. Her approach centers on understanding each patient's unique needs and goals while fostering open communication and collaboration with the care team. She is deeply committed to achieving high-quality outcomes and guiding patients and their families through every step of the transplant journey. Her research focuses on clinical outcomes, with an emphasis on improving patient care through health system optimization and expanding access to transplantation.
