Dr Wolens used to stand for freedom of medical choice which is why we chose this practice. He has since started requiring that everyone sign the AAP refusal form to delay/refuse any vaccines. I was debating signing since I wasn't comfortable with the language in the form and we went to see another pedi in the interim. Now VIP Pediatrics refuses to see my children after we have been going there for many years. Very sad situation, the way my family was treated after going there for so long.

Dr. Wolens is the best pediatrician, I recommend him highly. I don't mind driving from The Woodland to see cause the care is over the top. Has treated my oldest and discharge her due to her age but still my youngest doctor. He does more that is required and his staff is AWESOME!! Love his Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Wolens is truly a rare gem in the medical community. Although he's fussed at me a few times for not following his orders for my son's care, I know he did so because he's genuinely concerned about the welfare of my child. My son will be aging out of his care soon, and my son will leave kicking and screaming. My son loves this doctor so much that instead of going to an urgent care center for prompt medical attention on the weekend, he would prefer to be ill the extra days to see his doctor. We also live about 35 minutes away (without traffic) and I would rather drive to his office than find a pediatrician in my town. I know my son is in good hands with Dr. Wolens!

Yeah! I finally found I doctor I trust to take my kids to!

Dr. Wolens has been my pediatrician for 15 years for both my daughters. He is thorough and patient. He hung in there when I continued to feel that my daughter had an issue which was ultimately diagnosed as Celiac Disease. He continually was helpful and got me in to see specialists as we needed them. When my eldest had pneumonia and we had to go to TCH, he met us there and made sure all was going well before he left us in the care of the ER staff. I can't say enough about the care he has provided my family

I have three children, all three are patients of his, on is an adult now. He is an awesome and thorough doctor. They've been seeing him for years and he always manages to exceed my expectations, and he cares, he really cares!

We love Dr. Wolens! He is the best doctor and my sons love him!

We love VIP because they are on top of things! Dr Wolen's is very prompt, thorough, and has time for every question. He can be a bit condescending at times, but we've had a much better experience here than any other Pediatrician.

Dr. Wolens is an excellent pediatrician. Always goes the extra mile, is available by phone. Returns phone calls within a few hours at the most. Spends plenty of time in the room with you, open to all questions. Never have to wait in the office, always on time. Very caring.
