Dr. Jerald Payden Wallace, MD

Dr. Wallace is the exact sort of medical professional that you hope for when you're in a situation where surgery is required. He's down to earth and friendly but isn't at all unprofessional and is able to concisely answer any questions or concerns. Wound care in the weeks following my procedure was reassuring and he managed to deal with a medical emergency that I later found out could have been incredibly serious. At no point did I feel like his surgical methods were excessive or poorly-decided and while his work was in a private area, all incisions healed well enough that they're basically invisible. Should I ever need surgery again I'm going to fight to make sure it's known that I'd like him to be the one performing the operation. DCH has a pretty negative reputation for some things, but they're blessed to have him treating patients.
