Hopefully Dr. Wishner sees this. Colectomy in around 2009 he was awesome and thank you to this day. This is Giuseppe croce if you remember. I recently found out looks like you are retired. Thanks again and take care friend.

Dr. Wishner is a great surgeon. He performed a colon resection related to colon cancer on me as well as 5 other surgeries. He is flawless; I have total trust in Dr. Wishner and I actually rolled into the OR knowing that I was in the best of hands.

It's been just over 8 months since my surgery and if I ever had to go through it again, Dr Wishner is the only person I would go to. For the past 3 months I'm better than new, can't remember ever feeling this good. My intestinal issues are gone

I had a robotic inguinal hernia repair. A few months later I returned to him as I have a pocket of what felt like fluid above my belly button. He told me he didn't feel what I was talking about. Basically blew me off. The bulge was very obvious. After having a physical my internist told me the bulge was an umbilical hernia. I scheduled a second opinion with another surgeon. Prior to that appointment I requested my operative report. When I received it it documented that during my initial surgery he found an inguinal as well as umbilical hernia which were both repaired. He NEVER told me that even though we discussed my surgery twice afterwards and secondly if he repaired it why do I have a new umbilical hernia?!?! I saw other surgeon who told me I have an umbilical hernia which was caused during the surgery I had with Dr. Wishner. I now will need a second surgery! Not only was the communication incorrect, he did not tell me or realize I had another hernia post operatively and if he did… the repair initially why did it fail?

I went into surgery with 2 hernias and I ended up with 2 more hernias!

when you need a surgeon in his field of expertise,go to him.he's smart and terrific with the robot!

Thought about going into NYC for my cancer surgery until I met Dr. Wishner. A truly gifted surgeon he explained everything in detail answering all of my questions. The robotic procedure went very well and I was back to my normal routine in a few weeks, cancer free

Dr. Wishner is a fabulous surgeon. He is highly skilled in minimally surgical techniques and the use of the Da Vinci robot. He is cautious and does not take unnecessary risks. He clearly explains options to the patient and pro and cons so that the patient is part of the decision process. And finally, he is very caring and easy to talk with. I highly recommend him...can't think of any one better for abdominal type surgery in Westchester and/or NYC.
