Dr. Jere Anthony Scola, MD

Dr Scola is a great Podiatrist he is friendly and caring and he has treated my diabetic foot ulcers with care and understanding. He tells it like it is and I appreciate that. He also has a great staff of nurses and student nurses and is highly recommended by me for foot treatments as well as certain leg issues

I went online to find the office fax number and by chance read the other horrible review which from our experience is false. It sounds like a bitter ex girlfriend trying to bad mouth a kind, smart, amazing doctor.He has treated my disabled family member with patience and respect with minimal pain!! Our children love their visits with him. He has turned a child with sever back and leg and feet pain to a pain free young adult who had years of needed therapy and orthotic supports which were a life changer in regards to his pain. My daughter who is in kindergarten came to him with a debilitating big deep sliver in her foot and she stopped using her foot completely..he saw her asap and his care was exceptional she didnt even know he finished! And we tried at home many times and it was too deep and covered over for us. I have seen him over decades for injuries which he prioritized me and got me in almost immediately when a glass door fell on my foot and CRUSHED the end of my toe. He saved… the toe and it eventually healed beautifully. He has effectively treated my occasional warts quickly with minimal but necessary follow up visits. He has treated my neuroma with complete resolve. Everyone in my family is a patient of his including my parents and grandmother. I am also a medical professional and have been for decades and for the lie about Dr Scolas reputation I have never seen or heard anything on those lines. It's sad when a single man who is successful gets falsely accused because of someone who is full of hate. I've sat in the office next to people who came as far as the pan handle because of his exceptional wound healing skills. Children to elderly all see Dr. Scola for many many years, not because of what is said but because of what he does to heal them. May God always bless Dr. Scola and his family!!

Do NOT go to Dr. Scola. He is unprofessional with highly questionable integrity. His "type" is hot young women. This is clear from seeing his staff in person, from pictures online, and from talking with my friend who is a nurse at Shands (All the nurses there know of his reputation). He even FRIEND REQUESTED ME ON FACEBOOK!!! This is completely unprofessional as well as illegal since I was a current patient. I'm a female about the same age as his office staff. Just saying, that's creepy! Also, his medical decision making was SKETCHY. He started giving me steroid injections that were supposed to last two weeks. He said it was "safer" this way. I was coming in every week to get either side injected. Many friends who are medical professionals were concerned because standard ones last 3-6 months. They had never heard of that before and suggested he was probably milking the system. When I asked him what the dosage of the drug I was receiving, he REFUSED TO TELL ME. This was a HUGE red… flag. He also used ultrasound to guide the injections every week. This made my appointments extremely expensive, and unnecessary since the injections were pretty superficial. I'm sure he was only doing this FOR THE MONEY he would make from me and my insurance. Lastly, at my first appointment, before my first sentence was over, had already diagnosed me, and had a full treatment plan in mind. He did not ask any more questions or think about any other different diagnoses I might have. I went to another doctor later, who told me I definitely did NOT have what Dr. Scola assumed I had. He anchored to one thing and did not keep an open mind even though I wasn't really responding to his therapy.
