Dr. Jeremiah Joseph Ledesma, MD

I was sent to Bronson Hospital ER by ambulance over a year ago with upper tummy pain. This joke of a Dr. said it was "gas" and indigestion. I have had the same attacks for over a year on and off. I would take pills for gas and indigestion and nothing worked. Only to because very sick this spring and come to find out after all this time it was my gallbladder. I had been having gallbladder attacks all this time! To make matters worse because it missed by this Doctor my liver was affected by having a bad gallbladder all this time. I had emergency surgery two weeks ago to remove my gallbladder that should have been removed a long time ago. If I could give Dr. Jeremiah J Ledesma ZERO stars I would. I also see he has negative review on other medical pages by people he has treated.

I have multiple issues with staff and the Dr. My husbands diagnosis after Ct scan should've been a prompt ASAP call to the specialist , but instead we get the reply of he's not calling the specialist this late to get him up over a 7mm kidney stone!!! he didnt want to get him up to determine whether my husband needed to be admitted or help in any way! Our wait time was so ridiculous I'm just appalled at some of these nurses not wanting to respond to a simple cup of water, our wait time for that was like an hour!!! my husband was neausiated , in so much pain, some of the nurses had forgotten the bag of fluid that after IV gets put in arm only got as far as IV in arm and that's it!! The nurse finally came in with pain meds and I said to them how will that work if there is no bag of fluids first , finally bag is up ready to go then administering his meds for his pain, I mean I don't know, but the way it was handled was ridiculous!! We got a lot of I'll be right backs but nothing!!! Some… nurses were behind their desk on the computer, doing whatever they do, so after an hour wait for just a cup of water I had to walk out and see some nurses just sitting on the computer and no one was budging for cup of water so I said we need water then one nurse got up!!! One nurse that worked in another department was a great help, and she was only in ER because she was sent there to do something else!! Within all of this, pain meds were prescribed but that's it, my husband was sent home but should've been admitted!!!! We were there from 10pm-3am. I will not go to this hospital again!!

Very disrespectful to my husband (patient) and I. He minimized my husbands symptoms and made us feel that we should not have come to the emergency room. Did not think that abnormal liver enzymes were related to the influenza. Misread or did not read the x-ray and sent us home (although the x-ray indicated pneumonia). Our internist contacted us the following morning and hospitalized my husband. Dr.Ledesma needs to update his knowledge of H1N1 symptoms and treatments. Needs to improve his bedside manner.Very dissatisfied with the lack of concern from Dr. Ledesma.
