Dr. Jeremy Eduard Baptist, MD

I've debated on writing this review for a few years now but I think its time. I saw Dr. Baptist when I was young, probably around 2005-2008. I had severe GI issues and anxiety, for reference. Dr. Baptist subjected me to extensive allergy testing, after which he concluded that I was allergic to 35 different foods. The list was significant- gluten, yeast, corn, rice, eggs, milk, grapes, blueberries, tomatoes... I literally ate nothing except foods made with crazy kinds of alternative flour for years. There was no way I got enough nutrients. When my friends around me were eating good and normal food, I watched them as I ate whatever I could that wasn't on the list. I vividly remember my friend's birthday parties or sleepovers where I couldn't have anything. I didn't gain any weight during prime years of development, and I was skin and bones. I also was taking 16 supplements at a time, which is incredibly expensive. I can't imagine what my parents spent to see this man. After a few years… of doing this, my parents got a second opinion where we discovered that I probably wasn't allergic to anything, and one by one, I reintroduced those foods back into my life with no side effects. The REAL allergist we got a second opinion from said that this was not the first case he had seen from Dr. Baptist where he told patients that they were allergic to a long list of foods. I still didn't gain weight for years and when I finally did, it caused me to experience intense body image issues. In the years following my experience, I also developed binge eating tendencies because of how long I spent not eating nutritious food as a child. Please, seek a second opinion if you have chosen to see Dr. Baptist. I'm sure he does some good for many people, but be careful.

We took our son with autism to this doctor. He did tests and had us place our son on a strict diet with vitamins and supplements and allergy shots. We did the best we could with the diet and supplements for years and my son was very improved. Better eye contact, sleep and school performance. Overall improvement. We had a setback and stopped the diet and most of the supplements for about 3 years and have seen the difficulties return more and more the longer he's been off them. Dr. Baptist is a bit unconventional but he cares, knows his stuff, and for us his instructions produced excellent results. Without everything we learned from Dr. Baptist I feel our son would be doing far worse. Baptist's treatment really impacted our understanding of how to help our child and set us on an effective track.

Dr. Baptist absolutely changed the health of my family--we started seeing him in 2007 with a "sensory kid," and since, our understanding of our individual biological needs has lead us to healthier, more functional lives! Dr. Baptist expects a lot from his patients by means of learning and understanding their biological needs and functions. It can be daunting to be presented with so much information, but he has always provided us with educational materials, sources, and TIME to answer questions. The testing he does to determine allergies, organic acids, neurotransmitter function, etc., have been instrumental in increasing our understanding of our bodies' function. We owe so much to Dr. Baptist for healing our kid, and then helping us maximize our own health. What an amazing doctor!

Dr Baptist is not Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology!

After 30 years including 10 years of suffering, Dr. Baptist got me off of Abilify, Paxil and Ambien and safely onto 5HTP, Acetyl L-Carnitine and L-Carnitine which seem to be doing the job, along with a lot of vitamins and strict dietary restrictions according to my blood type allergies. This is a break though for me.

After 9+ years and 5 allergists, I foy d Dr. Jeremy Baptist. He tested me for 96 different "things".. plus took MANY vials of blood for additiinal testing. It was discovered that I am allergic to a great many foods. Being off those has totally eliminated stuffiness. Plus I now sleep 7 to 10 hours vs the 3 to 5 I slept for 9 years. I am on NO MEDS, i.e., Sudafed, Claratin D, sleeping pills, etc. I AM THRILLED !!! He is a great dr. for me!!!!

Very odd behavior coming from this doctor. Did procedures without consulting me as the parent first which did not set well. At times very unprofessional behavior

Love everything about Dr. Baptist except I can't keep the diet. It's too rigid I'm always going to fail in some point. Not sure if were together on the real goal. Gives miraculous answers to all health problems that show up. (I'm not sure if I want to get off psychiatric medication right now)

If you have thousands of dollars to spend on unproven tests not covered by insurance, then this is your guy. If not, I'd advise staying away. Office is dirty and reeks of mold. The Dr is old-school and gets insulted if you ask questions. He will pressure you to get allergy shots even when you don't suffer from environmental allergy systems. I learned my lesson the hard way, but I can at least warn others!

After being tested by doctors in various specialties; i.e., dermatology, infectious disease, internal medicine, I found Dr. Baptist. He tested for my allergies, and within three days I started the diet restrictions, my life changed. I now feel better than I did 30 years ago. Physically, my symptoms are 98% gone, and I am only 19 days into my treatment. I don't ache with stiffness in my joints anymore. I had several other problems physically that have vanished. What more can I ask?
