Dr. Jeremy Benjamin Barowsky, MD

I had searched for a psychiatrist to work with me on my anxiety, OCD and depression medications and lost hope of finding someone I connected with. Dr. Barowsky changed the game for me. He is patient, understanding, kind, responsive and truly cares about the well-being of his patients. He works with you on a plan that you are comfortable with and does not push you into taking drastic steps. He is reassuring and you never feel like you are fighting this battle alone. Highly recommend him to anyone.

This dr is in the business of profits. He pretends to be “by the books with his mathematical calculations” but quite frankly subscribes to keeping patients addicted to brain hijacking substances to further his business. His license needs to be stripped unless this uneducated population wants to be continuously abused. I have so much more to say but can’t quite yet.

Claims to be an expert in addiction psychiatry, yet looks down on an addict as if he were less than human. He is much less experienced than many others in his field, but he sure doesn't think so. I heed warning to any coming to him for help with addiction. Expect to be treated as less-than, and also expect for him to not believe a word you say. He seems to be of the mind that if you are an addict, you must be lying to him, and there is no worse feeling than being looked down upon by someone who only has textbook experience- no true experience- with the field he claims to be an expert in.

What a kind and compassionate human being. Dr. Barowsky is also an outstanding diagnostician, prescriber, therapist, and cheerleader. At different times I have needed all of these, and he has always exceeded my wishes.

Extremely kind and comforting in his style, Dr. Barowsky is as skillful in relating to a patient as he is in diagnosing and treating. And that's saying a lot. Couldn't recommend a doctor more highly!

Dr. Barowsky is exceptionally warm, skilled, and personable. He made me feel comfortable and understood from the very first session.
