His office was beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and his staff was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating during a stressful situation. Dr. Egan repaired my daughter’s forehead laceration quickly and with such care — and she healed beautifully without even a scar. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jeremy Egan and the team at Elite Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Tulsa, OK. The waiting area was comfortable, the staff greeted me immediately, and everything just felt calm and professional (shoutout to Jess!). No chaos, no rude front desk people, no feeling like cattle getting pushed through a system. Tasha, the office manager, deserves a HUGE shoutout because she seriously went… above and beyond for me. Scheduling surgery is stressful enough, especially when you’re trying to coordinate work, insurance, family, recovery time, etc. She helped me through all of it and made the process so much easier than I expected. She answered all my questions quickly, helped work around my schedule, and was just genuinely kind the entire time. You can tell she actually cares about patients instead of acting like helping people is an inconvenience. Honestly if every medical office had a Tasha, America’s blood pressure would probably drop by 20%. Then there’s Dr. Egan himself. The guy is incredibly confident but also very easy to talk to. Some surgeons make you feel intimidated or rushed, but he explained everything in a way that actually made sense. During my exam and imaging, he found a pretty large cyst hidden in my lower jawbone that apparently nobody else had noticed before. That was honestly shocking to hear. Dr. Egan explained exactly what it was, why it needed to come out, and what the surgery would involve without making me panic. The sedation surgery itself was almost comical because of how easy it was. One second they were getting me comfortable and joking around with me, and the next thing I knew I was waking up asking, “Wait… did we start yet?” Apparently I was already completely finished?? I had built this whole thing up in my head for weeks and it ended up being smoother than getting an oil change. Which honestly feels rude after the amount of anxiety I invested into it. Recovery was way easier than expected too. Minimal pain, very manageable swelling, and the instructions they gave me were super clear. The surgical assistants were awsome and checked on me multiple times to make sure I was okay before leaving. Everybody there seemed genuinely happy and professional, which says a lot about the culture of the office. What impressed me most was how efficient everything was without ever feeling rushed. Dr. Egan is FAST in the best possible way. You can tell he’s done this thousands of times and operates at a very high level. There’s a huge difference between someone rushing and someone being highly skilled. He falls into the second category. The whole process felt incredibly polished from start to finish. And honestly… finding that cyst may have saved me from much bigger problems later on. I’m genuinely thankful I ended up at Elite instead of somewhere else. I also appreciated the little things. The office was spotless. The technology looked state-of-the-art. The team was welcoming. Nobody made me feel embarrassed or nervous. Even the post-op follow up felt personal instead of robotic.
