Jeremy Goral is a nurse practitioner who specializes in endocrinology.

He believes that trust is the foundation for good relationships with patients.

“I feel that doing what is right for the patient is critical to establishing that trust and it begins with active listening,” he said.

Goral chose endocrinology as his specialty because he can use education to empower his patients.

“I enjoy this process of education and empowerment to help patients meet their health goals, especially with diabetes management,” he said.

One piece of advice Goral wants patients to apply to their lives is to stay active.

“Exercise and routine activity are foundational in the treatment of many health conditions and concerns,” he said.

Goral was inspired by his childhood family physician to pursue a career in medicine.

“He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and he relieved anxiety at each visit,” he recalled. “I strive to emulate his bedside manner in my own practice.”

Goral grew up in Yuma and moved to Tucson …in 2002 to attend the University of Arizona where he earned his bachelor’s degrees in physiology and in nursing. Continuing his education, he received his Master of Science Nurse Practitioner from Northern Arizona University.
