Dr. Jeremy William Jaskunas, MD

In 2005 Dr. Jaskunas treated me after a car/truck accident I was in. He examined me and treated me for multiple physical and emotional problems that resulted from the accident. He was professional and caring. I have since, moved to Oshkosh but I wish he was still my doctor. Great guy. Great physician.

Dr Jaskunas took care of me for 4 days in hospital. Unlike most doctors, he didn’t just come in and talk at me then leave. He made me feel like my input was important. He listens without judgement. I also felt like he put a lot of thought into my medical situation, I never worried something was being “missed” with him.

I have never in my experience met a doctor so quick to get annoyed and condescending when dealing with reasonable patient advocacy. Not only was he extremely vague and unhelpful when questioned, but he stooped down to using personal attacks and insults towards the family of the patient. I have never met such an immature and childish doctor in my life. Would NEVER recommend him.

Dr. Jaskunas is by far the rudest doctor I have ever met. He cares much more about money and patient turnover than he does about the patient themself. He was unable to clearly answer any of our questions, he contradicted the findings of the other doctor, he refused to keep my grandfather another night because he had "already been there 3 nights", mind you this was a 92 year old man who was admitted for a fall and low oxygen levels. Dr. Jaskunas wanted to send him home without training my grandfather, who is almost completely blind and deaf, how to use an oxygen tank. My grandfather also wouldn't have hospice set up until the next day, and because he adamantly lives alone, would have no one to take care of him until the next day, so my mom advocated for him staying another night as she would not be able to spend the night with him and Dr. Jaskunas continued to tell her, in the rudest way possible, "Fine we can keep him another night so that you can go run your business". Implying in a… very condescending way that my mom cares more about her work than her own father, which is the farthest thing from the truth. Dr. Jaskunas only cares about the number of days, not the patient himself. He managed to make my mother cry in front of our whole family. I have never witnessed such a display of insensitivity or lack of manners from a health care professional. If he lost his temper simply from my mother's questioning and polite advocating, I would hate to see how he acts around people that aren't so knowledgeable and polite. We were nothing but polite and he was incredibly quick to snap at us. He acted like a child and I am still in such shock as to his actions. I would never EVER recommend him to anyone. He better learn some bedside manners before he talks to anymore patients. We've already filed a formal complaint against him for his actions. Next time instead of retorting like a teenager he should really think about his professionalism.
