God help the poor women who suffer at the hands of this awful doctor in labor and delivery

After we had our baby, Dr King checked her out at the hospital and made a huge deal (in front of family members) about how he thought she had Down Syndrome based solely on the fact that she had a small nose. He came in with his students and talked to us (in front of family members) like she was dying. Then we had to wait all day, worried sick, for test results to confirm she did not have it. He didn’t listen to us when we told him we had genetic testing done in utero. He had terrible bedside manner. I will never forget this man’s name for turning the day after my daughter’s birth into one of the worst I’ve ever had. Even if he thought she did have it, the way he presented it was completely unprofessional. If we have another child, this man will not lay eyes on our baby.

Dr King tried to force me to mutilate my child against my wishes. argued with me for over an hour on why I had to mutilate my newborn. I feel sorry for any new parent dealing with this Dr with zero bedside manner. AVOID

Dr. King was my doctor when he was in Wichita, KS and would still be today had he not relocated. He was professional, easy to talk to and really listened to and addressed all of my concerns. One thing I really respected is that because I had multiple really tough diagnosis if he didn't have an answer he didn't ignore, gloss over or minimize it he would say "I'll have to do alittle research and we'll deal with it at your next appoitment" and he always did! That gave me hope and I appreciated it more than words can express. He has a great bedside manner, he dosen't talk down to his patients, explains things throughly in layman's terms, is very compassionate and caring. Dr. King is one of those doctors who has been blessed with the gift of healing. I miss him very much and would be over joyed if he returned. Thank you Dr. King.
