Dr. Jeremy Lee Klope, MD

I was taken to the ER after I dislocated and broke my ankle from a bike accident. I had Dr.Klope as my Dr. He was very quick to help me, very nice, and he answered all my questions. Dr. Klope put my ankle back in place without any problems. He did a great job by keeping me calm since I was very concerned and scared about the procedure! I am very pleased with the outcome of my visit with Dr Klope and I am glad he was the Dr I seen on the day I badly broke and dislocated my ankle!!! ~DB

Went to ER due to low calcium levels. Have struggled to maintain levels above 8 for years. Last year alone was admitted 12 times. I am very aware of what is needed in order to increase my levels as wells as the 3 other doctors that would admit me after my first blood test and bag of calcium. This doctor however has decided that after one bag and levels at 7.7 I am good enough to go home even though I still have numbness in my extremities and tetany. At one point when I asked if he had read my file for my last 12 visits to understand that it always took several bags administered over a couple days to raise my levels he dismissed me promptly with a remark stating that he knows what he is doing. Also found instances of him rolling his eyes when I was describing my symptoms. Most unprofessional experience I have ever been through. I will now be discharged (still symptomatic) only to get my doctor tomorrow to have me admitted which could have easily been done tonight if this doctor would… follow the same process as every other doctor at this hospital. Unfortunately, this doctor says that taking blood tests after administering calcium is “not what I normally do” so who knows what my levels will be when I am discharged. A formal complaint will be filed with Lourdes hospital tomorrow.
