I highly recommend Dr. Marcus if you are in need of a nephrologist. He keeps up to date with the most current forms of therapy and guides you to do whats right for your situation. He diagnosed me with a rapid form of IGA and he was kind enough to get me in the same day when I originally saw him 6 years ago because he knew I was in a dire situation. All around fantastic physician.

I originally met Dr. Marcus when I frantically called his office 4 years ago when my creatinine was elevated. His office seeing how concerned I was, added me on as a patient in the afternoon. He not only has good bedside manners, but he is a very knowledgeable doctor. He keeps up on research and cutting edge trials and therapies. He listens to you and one can have an intellectual conversation with him on any kidney issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a nephrologist. Fantastic doctor and someone I still see.

Dr. Marcus is the most caring doctor I have encountered in the DC area. He even emailed me results on a Saturday morning so I didn't have to wait all weekend. When you call to speak to a him directly, you can! It is also quite easy to get an appointment -- a rarity for a specialist in DC. I would highly recommend Dr. Marcus to any of my family or friends.

Excellent doctor, warm and caring personality with a professional and personable bedside manner. You are not just another patient at Washington Nephrology..they truly care about their patients. Dr. Marcus took over my care after Dr. Dosa retired and I can honestly say that Dr. Dosa left me in warm, loving and capable hands. Alot of people ask me why don't I find a doctor closer to home as it's a 150 mile round trip for me and if I'm sick and have to be hospitalized then it's off to Washington Hospital Center. I don't mind the drive when I know that I'm being taken care of by the best doctors in Nephrology.
