Dr. Jeremy Donald Paulsen, MD

Dr. Jeremy Paulsen saw me in the ER on a not busy night and yet after maybe one minute with me he told me that he thought my symptoms were psychosomatic and when I pushed back politely stating I had been diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses and to just check my records, he claimed that those specialist were wrong and that it was all in my head. He said I should just exercise (Note: I'm slender and was active before I got sick but then was so sick I could barely function and lost even more weight) Him saying this in front of my family caused them to wonder if I was lying somehow. He put his thoughts in my medical records so his awful opinions are now in my medical records forever. I was devastated. I ended up seeing another specialist later and found that not only did they agree with the other specialist that I had these health issues that were being ignored, but they could be seen clear as day on lab results. I will never forget the issues Dr. Paulsen caused by simply not… believing me or his colleagues that are specialists in that field.
