Both my wife and I are patients of Dr. Smith. We are in our seventies and he is far and away the best internist we've ever had. He is personable, professional, and astute. We trust him implicitly with regard to medical knowledge and counseling advice. He communicates efficiently in understandable terms.

He's been my primary care doctor for three years. My appointment Monday was typical. He saw me about ten minutes after I arrived. I had questions about a new drug that it turned out he knew pretty well. I asked for suggestions about my drug costs, and he suggested two generics that I will probably use after I have time to study them. He listens well, has a good bedside manner, thinks quickly. My appointment ran long because I have some treatment choices I have to make, and he didn't rush me to get me out of there. Overall summary: he's smart, uses what he knows well, treats you as an individual rather than "third appointment this morning," walks you through his recommendations so you know how and why he made that decision. And he'll take time to deal with important qwuestions. I recommend him highly.
