Dr. Jeremy David Thomas

Funny how he’s got a perfect rating for years and as soon as the news hits bottom feeders magically start to appear. Wish u the best doc. Happy to see u went to rehab and got it straightened up. Thoughts & prays

Jeremy Thomas was abusing opiods while practicing medicine. It's highly suspected he was doing surgery while under the influence of them also. He's currently facing Federal felony drug charges and is out of jail on bond. His medical license is suspended. . I am currently awaiting an appointment with another surgeon because 2 years after surgery Jeremy Thomas performed I am in constant pain and now have numbness and tingling. My surgery was a routine repair that should not have resulted in constant pain.

I've been to Dr Thomas for several different orthopedic issues. He's a fantastic surgeon. He takes his time, he listens, and it's obvious he is there for his patients. It's not just a job for him, but a passion. I've taken my son to him, and my mom has also used him. I won't go to anyone else.

My son hurt himself and he has been very kind and concerned for him.

Everyone was very friendly and the wait was never long. I will be needing another knee soon and this is where I will go to have it done Pain ? Yes but much of it was in the mind, knowing it was supposed to hurt. Not as much as I expected it to. He will be my Dr. when I need his specialty again.

Let's just say he's NOT Dr Knifechief, luckily some of the staff that was there when she was there are still there being just as wonderful as ever....alot of the new staff is not quite as friendly including Dr Thomas, they act like they are in such a big hurry to rush you on out the door and act like if you have insurance that maybe isn't as good as others that they don't really want to mess with treating you, as if patients are only money to them. ALOT of people I have heard make the same comments about the PA., seriously wish Dr Knifechief would come back to town ð???

Let me start by saying this; Dr. Thomas was recommended to me by my primary care physician as well as a few friends who had seen him prior to my encounter with him. I was looking forward to seeing him and the location and convenience were a huge plus for me. However, from the time I entered his office to the time I left was the worst medical experience I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone. The staff as well as the doctor were unbelievably rude. When you walk in the door they shove a survey at you to fill out while you are waiting to see the doctor 'because they have a quota of how many surveys get filled out'. How are you supposed to answer questions about your visit with the doctor before you've even seen the doctor?? Once I got in the room a woman started telling me everything about my x-rays and treatment options. She was rushed, pushy, unfriendly, and flat out rude. I asked her if she was Dr. Thomas, as I was unsure since my primary physician made the… appointment for me. She responded that she wasn't Dr. Thomas, but she's his Physicians Assistant. I asked why I wasn't seeing the doctor when my appointment was to see the doctor, she said they see over 60 patients and Dr. Thomas can't see everyone himself. I responded that that was the strangest thing because whenever I go to any other doctor I see the doctor, not an assistant. She proceeded to tell me that she's in the operating room with him and knows everything there is to know about the surgeries, etc. I made the comment that I was sure she could do the surgery herself, but I was there to see the doctor. She said no, that she wasn't licensed for that. She informed me that they don't schedule anyone to see the actual doctor, they have a rotating schedule and every patient sees whoever is available. I questioned her as to whether or not you would be scheduled with Dr. Thomas if you had surgery and she said that you would have whoever is available to do your surgery; there were no guarantees. She finally recommended a shot for me and left the room to go get it. Another nurse came in in the mean time and I questioned her as to why I wasn't seeing the doctor when my appointment was with him. She told me if I would like she could go get the doctor and left the room. A little while later the doctor walked into the room with his PA and immediately started in with the rudest mannerisms I have ever encountered. Dr. Thomas told me in a very rude and condescending tone that he didn't appreciate me hurting his PA's feelings and 'no one is guaranteed to see anyone; that's how they schedule things and I might as well start getting use to it.' His tone and attitude were absolutely unacceptable. He then proceeded to tell me that he did not like MY attitude. I'm sorry, but if you are scheduled to see the doctor, and your insurance is going to be billed as though you saw the actual doctor; you expect to see the doctor. I'm not going to take the opinion of someone who doesn't have the appropriate credentials to tell me whether or not I need surgery. Although I was ready to walk out, I chose to stay for the shots they were going to give me. I was told by the Physician's Assistant that they would give me two shots; however, when the doctor came in there was only one shot. I asked him why I was only getting one shot and rather than finding out the reason he said my insurance would probably only cover one shot. If it weren't for the excruciating pain I was in, I wouldn't have let them give me a shot; now I sincerely wish I hadn't. I was at Dr. Thomas's office nearly two hours and left there more upset and displeased than any other doctor I have ever seen. I will never go back to Dr. Thomas and would caution anyone who considers seeking his care to heed this warning. The doctor and his staff are by no means courteous, they couldn't care less whether or not they see you during your appointment, and you could be equally diagnosed by your primary care physician with their PHD rather than the physicians assistant you will most likely see.

Great experience. Dr Thomas and his staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Would recommend to family and friends.
