Dr. Jermania Estevez, MD

Be prepared to wait two hours to see someone. When you finally do, you aren't taken serious. She's cold and dismissive. I've received treatment from an hospital emergency room faster!!! Communication is a joke there and they never ever return phone calls. Believe me when I say the whole experience is horrible, was a patient for twenty years!!! Will be finding another Dr that cares about the patient.

she spent time with you, easy to talk to, is my primary doctor over 5 years, the only thing they have to improve is the front desk,(must be friendly and courtesy ) overall, I love her!!!!

I called Dr. Estevez office for an appointment. The evening before the appointment I get a call telling me that my insurance is not active. I told the lady on the phone that this is the second time this happens to me from Dr. Jermania Estevez’s office. I told the lady on the phone that there is a PROVIDER SERVICES number in back of the card and that I can give it to her so she can call and verify whether it is active or not. She said right off the bat; “no, because they are closed now, I will call tomorrow at 9:00 when I come in”. I said it was fine and asked her to please call me back and let me know what had happened. (She never called me back the next day; I called the office myself at 11:30am!) I then proceeded to call my insurance company to verify if my insurance is active or not, to which I was told that it was, indeed, active and could be used at any time! I did verify, once more the next day and I was told, the second time by a different person, that it is active!! When I… called next day at 11:30am, I told the lady on the phone about my “inactive” insurance and she proceeded to try and get me an approval. She said it was not active. I asked her to please call the number for Provider Services and get an answer so I could go in and see the Dr. She said that they are not allowed to do that! I then told her that the number is there for cases like mine, so they can get an approval on card activity. After a couple denials from her, I then proceeded to tell her to cancel the appointment and that I am going to find another PCP with better knowledge on how to work these situations. I called my health care plan and was told that they, the providers, can call at any time to get ANY kind of information and/or approvals. That is the reason why they have that number for all providers. I will be finding another PCP doctor other than Jermania Estevez and a more knowledgeable office team….you patients go ahead and rate them!

Horrible experience. Not only is Dr Estevez highly unprofessional but the protocols in office are also abusive. The wait time is extremely long. Asking for paperwork is nearly impossible. Would not recommend this Dr to anyone. Personally I do not trust her decisions.

terrible experience. wait time more than an hour., when the doctor finally see you she did not even listen to you. when for a physical and she just order blood test, no urine analysis, no pap smear, no breast exam even through i told her that i had lump in my left breast. charging me a second time visit just to give me the lab result.

Creo firmemente que los doctores cada dia piensan mas en tomar tu dinero que darnos su tiempo. El tiempo de espera (aun teniendo cita) es agotante. Cuando finalmente pasas a la consulta, la doctora habla y si no la detienes se levanta y en 5minutos ya has hecho tu consulta no importando las dos horas que hayas podido esperar afuera. Cada malestar es una cita diferente, no te puedes quejar de todos el mismo dia. Y luego para rematar, no te llaman para dejarte saber como salieron los analisis y si te llaman no te dicen, tienes que ir y a veces es para decirte lo mismo que ya te habian dicho antes. Otros buenos billetes que hay que volver a sacar. Tu salud en un segundo termino.

I went in to check on something found in my physical. I brought a copy of my x-ray which she never looked at. Had me go get a CT scan, I paid for the CT scan, they never called me to tell me the results were in, so I called them and they say 'oh looks like you need to come in so we can tell you the results'. I asked if they could just tell me over the phone, but they refused to. So I come in, she had not even looked at my results till I got there! So I sit there and wait for her to read the results, of a test I already paid for...she reads me the results aka, it's nothing you're fine. Awesome, thanks for wasting my time, THEN...I get the bill, they charged $110 to waste my time and read me an email about the results of a test that were already mine, since I paid for it! Silly me, I thought doctor's cared about their patient's health...little did I know, they just care about my money. Well God be with them, they sure need Him.

Dr Estevez is "the best". She truly cares about what she is doing and to whom she is treating. She is full of great knowledge and knows what she is doing. I wish all doctors were like her@

THE DOCOTOR TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN TO WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND WHY HOW SHE WOULD TREAT ME AND THE REASONS BEHIND THAT. SHE IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS I WISH SHE WOULD SEE CHILDREN ALSO.
