I have been going to Dr Fischer for thirteen years & he is a very caring Dr. I would recommend him very highly.

Dr. Fischer is getting his patients mixed up and is forgetting things. He use to be an excellent Dr. now he just rushes through visits. Dr. Fischer needs to retire.

At my second visit I presented him with a list of all my various symptoms as I did with all my physicians at the time so they could better treat me. He looked aghast and was dismissive of my symptoms list. He hastily lowered my levothyroxine dose due to Hashimoto symptoms and that was the biggest mistake ever. I gsined 35lbs in six weeks doing nothing different. After that visit he referred me to consult with a surgeon to have my thyroid removed because of Hashimoto symptoms that he didn't know how to treat. Had the surgeon I consulted with not told me that she thought it was ridiculous and that he first needed to try other medicines that would have been his second biggest mistake. I asked to switch to NDT instead of levothyroxine on the second visit but he didn't because he said it was tricky to prescribe. -Tricky for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Several years after the fact I am on NDT successfully. I have also learned that sime of the troublesome symptoms I had… experienced were due to adrenals, something he should be very well aware of as an endocrinologist and know how to address those issues. When I spoke with his nurse about my symptoms of dyspnea caused my adrenals she patronized me stating it was all in my head and that it was just anxiety. They are both extemely unprofessional and inept practitioners and after the second visit I found someone else who knew how to do their job. Thank goodness I had better sense than to listen to his bad advise!

I have been to several different endrocrinologists to treat my diabetes. Dr. Fisher is the first of his type of doctor to listen to my opinion. I am very glad that I listened to my daughter and made the appointment. Great doctor and staff is excellent.

He did not accurately diagnose and deal with my situation that was effecting my health. He referred me to other doctors but was very disconnected and no follow up taken on his end. Pass off to the next doctor and that is it. He was in denial about my situation and felt that it was something else, when 3 other doctors in another state had treated me for this for years. He was not in search of helping me. He felt that he was responsible for me, when he would not get off of his butt and follow through. You are responsible for nothing with that approach. I am responsible for me and he is assisting me with the knowledge that the supposedly knows. Very pampas doctor and I do not recommend. NEXT!!!
