Dr. Jerome Richard Giesting, MD

Doctor Jerome Giesting joins Fayette Regional Health System ImmediateCare Centers as a highly-skilled and compassionate board certified physician. Dr. Giesting brings over 35 years of emergency medicine, urgent care and family practice medical experience in caring for his patient’s illnesses and injuries.

As a physician member of FRHS’s network of ImmediateCare Centers, Dr. Giesting is available to treat a variety of illnesses and injuries – from sore throats, coughs, colds, infections, cuts & sprains- to lacerations, minor fractures, work and sports-related injuries. The ImmediateCare Centers serve the urgent needs of our patient community – when the illness or injury cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with your primary care physician – but the injury or illness may not be serious enough for the higher intensity of care provided in an emergency room.. The Brookville and Connersville ImmediateCare Centers are open daily; because Dr. Giesting and his staff care about …your time, no appointment is ever needed.

Dr. Giesting has dedicated the majority of his professional medical career to Connersville, Brookville, and the surrounding area. He previously served as Medical Director at Brookville ImmediateCare, and has served the FRHS patient community in such diverse roles as Director of Emergency Services and as a family practitioner.

Dr. Giesting is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington. He went on to achieve his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, and he completed his Internship with Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
