Dr. Jerome Alan Guttman

Debbie is the dental assistant at Dr. Guttman's office. She's been with him for years. She was the first person I saw after Paula (who's also great!) took all my information. Dr. Guttman's work has made me a patient for life, but it was Debbie who made me feel at ease as soon as I met her. She's got a great relaxed way about her. She exudes confidence but is very approachable and very funny. It was Debbie who made me feel comfortable enough to climb into the chair so Dr. Guttman could work his magic. Thank you Debbie!

I had a terrible toothache and a friend of mine (who's also a dental chicken) recommend Dr. Guttman to me. I went to Dr. Guttman's office and was immediately put at ease. His staff is wonderful and I have to say, the work I had done (two teeth pulled, a root canal, and two fillings) was the most I ever had done at once and it was TOTALLY PAINLESS! I wouldn't lie to a fellow dental chicken, so if you're reading this please know it's true. Go see Dr. Guttman! This is the first time there's nothing wrong in my mouth. He fixed it all. I will keep him as my dentist for life and I think if you go see him you will too!

If you have ANY dental fears DEFINITELY go see Dr. Guttman. You'll love him. I've had dental phobia my whole life - not any more! My whole life I've had one thing or another going on in my mouth - a cavity, a needed root canal, a cracked tooth, a baby tooth that refused to come out at 35, you name it I had it! I had my first tooth pulled when I was 10 and it was such a bad experience I never wanted to go to the dentist again...and every time I did the dentist would fill me full of bad news and would really get my anxiety going. So obviously I developed a good case of dental phobia.

I was the biggest chicken and had a horrible fear of dentists having had bad experiences all my life. Dr. Guttman took away that fear completely. I have never been to a dentist that was completely pain free. I had a filling done and later in the day and the next day I felt nothing. He was sensitive to my fears and talked me through the process. I was so happy with my results I'm looking forward to seeing him again. Anyone out there with a fear of dentists should definitely schedule with Dr. Guttman.

I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Guttman and, having had several in the past by other dentists, I have to say I'm completely satisfied by the quality of work - both inside my mouth and through the whole support and follow-through process. In the chair I was at ease before the work even started!

I've had dental problems since I started teething as a toddler! Naturally, since every trip to the dentist ended up with me in tears as a child and young adult I developed a pretty big case of the jitters around going to the dentist - sick to my stomach, shaky, teary - all your classic anxiety symptoms. My fear of the dentist would normally keep me away just long enough to have a relatively small dental issue grow into a pretty severe one. Then I met Dr. Guttman.

I am the epitome of the "dental chicken." Just thinking of the word dentist makes me physically sick to my stomach. I broke a front tooth, so after years of procrastination, I was forced to go to a dentist. I found Dr. Guttman by a stroke of luck. After a few further months of procrastination, I got to know him through e-mail and slowly earned my trust. I went to see him last Saturday to finally have the tooth fix and he put me right at ease with nitrus, local anesthesia, and oral medication. I didn't feel a thing. While, I am still terrified of the dentist, I know that as the months roll on and I have more work done, I will be able to count on Dr. Guttman to calm my nerves and ensure that I never feel anything, if I am even awake at all. His staff is also very friendly and warm. I would recommend Dr. Guttman to anyone! In fact, I am taking some of his business cards to work with me.

I have always been a person who has been afraid of the Dentist, even at an age over 50. I must say I just had the most unbelievable visit with Dr. Guttman and his entire staff. If I had to rate their level of professionalism, on the scale of 1-10 it would be a 10. This is my first time meeting Dr. Guttman, and he is a Dentist that really cares about his patients, I could tell that he is a very compassionate person and a professional from the very beginning, I had several procedures that needed to be done, and the timing of completion was critical due to a very important business trip that is scheduled for the East Coast.. I meet the Dr, along with Paula and Debbi, who were extremely supportive of my needs and worked with me on a short notice to get things started and completed. MY experience was so favorable that if I lived anywhere else in the country I would fly back for my service. This is service like the old days when businesses really cared about their patients. My last point is… that Dr. Guttman communicates what he is doing as he is completing his procedures, and that made me feel very relaxed and eliminated the tense feeling i had before i got to his office. One extra thing is that because he has a gentle voice, it makes a difference. I would recommend Dr. Guttman and his entire staff as your future dentist.

Dr. Guttman has proven to me what a skilled professional is. He is gentle, informative, and gives positive realistic expectations. I recommend Dr. Guttman to everyone I know, and then some. His staff is great, and the hygienists do wonderful work! You will have a very positive experience at his office.
