Dr. Jerome Miranda Lim, DO

Very poor experience with this physician. I was treated with condescension and dismissal during this visit. I presented with several days of fever, ear pain and pressure with vertigo, green and yellow mucus, wheezing, and shortness of breath during coughing fits. Rather than being met with professionalism or concern, I was spoken to in a way that made me feel embarrassed for asking questions about commonly recommended over the counter medications. This is a reasonable point of confusion for a patient, particularly after receiving different guidance previously. When treatment was prescribed, it was communicated in a dismissive manner that suggested it was unlikely to be helpful. The provider appeared frustrated with how my prior care had been handled and directed that frustration toward me. How earlier visits were managed is not something a patient controls, and it should not affect how they are treated. I left the appointment very upset. Patients deserve to be spoken to with… respect and taken seriously when they are unwell. This experience lacked empathy and appropriate bedside manner, and I would not choose to see this provider again.

I am in a bad shape right now due to this severe unknown migraine I’ve been experiencing in the past month. My insurance BCBSOK recommended this app called MDLive. I needed to talk to a doctor today and had Dr. Lim assigned to me. As I was explaining what was going on he totally cut me off. Didn’t show compassion as a doctor. He was very arrogant, just impatient. Explained to him I would usually take ibuprofen and tylenol and it never helped so I stopped taking it. He kept recommending Ibuprofen as if I never explained myself. He said he could prescribe this medication but is still recommending ibuprofen that does not work. He was rude, completely arrogant, irritated, and could not wait to end the call. No sense of care to patients. You could hear it from his voice. It is a shame.

I was literally having an asthma attack in this man's virtual urgent care room. This nuthead was trying to get me to go to the ER and absolutely REFUSING to prescribe me anything I could potentially pick up from a pharmacy the next morning. For the record, I am a woman. I felt completely dismissed and talked down to while in a medical crisis. Ladies (and gentlemen) save your time and money and go to a real doctor.

Outstanding doctor ! Compassionate, empathetic and intelligent! He offered excellent advice on how to deal with Covid 19 and the treatment he provided effectively and quickly resolved the symptoms. He treated me via MDLive. His patients are lucky to have him.

He prescribed me prednisone, even though I have a history of blood clots and pulmonary embolism. He wouldn’t even listen to what was wrong with me. I was in town for work, and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor.

My visit with dr lim made me so hesitant to ever do another virtual meeting with a dr. He was rude arrogant argumentative and rushing. Zero compassion for his patients. He should have a degree in unprofessionalism

Dr. Lim is a great listener who thoughtfully considers his diagnosis and subsequent treatment. I came to him through the Medishare web MD app and could not be more pleased with the results.
