My ideal client is someone who has self-esteem issues. As a therapist I enjoy imparting positive feedback to my clients to help them see the value of themselves as an individual and to boost their perception of self. I treat the following issues: abandonment, abortion, adoption, aging/geriatric conditions, anger, blended family issues, bullying, caregiver issues/stress, co-dependency, commitment issues, communication problems, compulsive spending/shopping, control issues, divorce adjustment, emotional abuse, grief, LGBTQ issues, military/veterans issues, PTSD, women's issues, and workplace issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in treating diverse individuals, couples, families with adult children 18+, and groups who may have mental and emotional health issues in relationship problems. I utilize an Integrative Therapeutic Approach consisting of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy.

I got my MS degree …from TAMU-CC in counseling in 2012. I provided substance abuse counseling from 2013 to the present on a full-time basis. I started my private practice in 2017 and I continue to enjoy making a positive impact on peoples' lives. I offer face-to-face counseling vs. telehealth. Factors unique to my practice are my varied life experiences. I have met others with diverse backgrounds in the United States, Canada, and Europe. My unique experiences as a recent grandmother, mother, wife, daughter, businesswoman, and adoptee afford me the ability to help others from all walks of life understand their problems.
