Dr. Jerrod Dean Long, DDS

I went to Dr Long because I broke a big chip out of my tooth eating pistachios. He said I needed an expensive root canal, but he did it incorrectly, and it became infected. All he wanted to do was throw more pain pills at the problem. I had to get an endodontist to redo it correctly and he told me Dr Long had not adequately cleaned out the roots, nor did he fill them, which is a basic, very painful mistake. When I left a negative review on Dr Long’s Facebook page, both he and his assistant called me a liar rather than dealing with my problem. He even said my “lies” were entertaining to him! Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Even though I broke off a piece of my tooth, I had no pain until I was treated by Dr. Long. This tooth is still painful today and a new dentist says I might lose that tooth! AVOID Dr. Long at all costs. It is so worth it to drive an extra 30 minutes to Sierra Vista to some other dentist, rather than to endure years of pain due to Dr Long’s substandard work.
