Considering the title above, this was an efficient, and pleasant experience where I was treated on time by a great staff. Doctor Canakis was both amiable and knowlegeable throughout the procedure as were his assistants and they all treated you with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend this practice.

Was very impressed with Dr Canakis. He was very patient with questions and explained everything to us. Most importantly, he listened to us. Office staff was very, very pleasant and helpful.

Met Dr C during a chance er visit while he was the on call GI. He made such an impression I called my current GI the next day and relieved him of his duties. Dr C has changed my life....complete remission! He takes his time in every visit to make sure your concerns are addressed. His staff is incredible, including Brenda and Mrs C...the whole staff is great! I would recommend him to everyone!

I had been to several specialist trying to find out why I had lost 30 lbs. in 9 months. Dr. Canakis did an endoscopy and then a colonoscopy and discovered a small polyp in my intestinal wall and recommended removal asap. The day of surgery the surgeon couldn't find it and Dr. Canakis rushed over to the hospital to assist in finding it. A one foot of my colon was removed and Results showed it was cancer and had spread to a lymph gland. He has a keen eye and if this was missed it would have spread and I may not be here today if it wasn't for him.
