Dr. Jerrold Aaron Friedman, MD

Dr. Jerrold Friedman is the best natural pain Dr. EVER!! Very professional and knows exactly where your pain is,, I wouldn't recommend any other!!

I went to him about back pain and my MRI results from a previous orthopedic doctor that said that I had a compression fracture and a bulging disc which I did from tumors that were growing on my spine from Breast Cancer I had in 2004. While Dr. Friedman wasn't the only doctor that didn't c the tumors on the MRI that I brought to my first office visit with him I do put much of the blame on him for refusing to approve me to get another MRI many months later when the pain started getting worse! He said it wouldn't show anything different. Well he was wrong because as we later found out it was Metastatic and was literally crushing my spine. If he had approved an MRI when I had asked him I might not have needed such extensive surgeries, full spinal fusion and so much hardware and screws in me that it is hard to read my scans. In addition to that I am in constant chronic pain and barely have a life anymore. I went from being an incredibly active person, worked out my whole life,… had been a personal trainer to now having to take a cane with me if I want to walk anywhere for a little distance. Even as I am sitting in my chair typing this I am in agony. I do take some of the blame and responsibility, I should have demanded another MRI or gone to another doctor. If I had maybe I wouldn't have needed such extensive surgery? Obviously it's too late now but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if he would have been more diligent and observant? When I got my original diagnosis in 2004 my gynecologist got the report and said that it was just a cyst and he insisted I get a tissue biopsy which then showed I had breast cancer. Dr. Friedman knew my history and I feel that he was very negligent in his approach to treating me. Even when I was in agony and could barely walk, my spine was literally being crushed from the compression he didn't feel it was necessary for another MRI. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to him and if I was you I would go elsewhere. He may seem like he knows what he is doing but he had a huge part in ruining my life and for that I will never forgive or forget.

Thorough, thoughtful, caring, and extremely talented. I don't trust anyone more than I do Dr. Friedman.
