Super nice guy but looked at my daughters vitals, heart rate a over the map and EKGs looking like a mountain range along with chest pain and light headedness and says it's normal, nothing to worry about. What?! We're requesting a new cardiologist

It's incredibly unfortunate that this man is the only dysautonomia specialist in Tucson. He has a huge ego because he trained at the Mayo clinic in Phoenix (of which he will constantly remind you) and acts like his tests are better than the same tests administered by others. For example, he made me retake a tilt table test performed by another cardiologist in Tucson that was positive. When it was over, he told me he didn't think my issue was dysautonomia even though my heart rate went up to 150 bpm and I had convulsive syncope. His rationale? My heart rate didn't stay elevated long enough for his liking. I couldn't find anything of a quantitative temporal nature when I've combed the diagnostic literature. I also have gastroparesis, a common condition with dysautonomia. The positive test results were given to him at the first appointment. This man appears to make medical diagnosis based on his opinion, not evidence. He had no interest in my medical history. Beware.
