Dr. Jerome Victor Ambrosia, MD

Worst doctor you will ever go to. Does not care about his patients or how much pain he puts them through. Has done 2 surgery on my left shoulder and didn't get it right with the repair so he done a shoulder replacement and it's still not fixed yet

After my surgeon Dr. Cobb left the practice, Worker comp schedule me appt with Dr. Jerome Ambrosia for the first and only time, to release me. I hurt all the time and limited to my everyday life. I have called Ambrosia office several times for pain medication for months…NO RESPONSE. Dr. Jerome Ambrosia told me there was nothing else could help me, when Dr. Cobb requested a small surgery to give me more mobility and to help lessen my pain. And Dr. Cobb had requested MRI over a year ago but Dr Ambrosia said he was only advised to see my arm. I guess not touch, either! I have not worked in twenty months!

I think he is a great Dr and has an awesome bedside manner

I went to see him today for an appointment and I am African American woman in as soon as he came in the room there and he looked at me funny. I asked questions about my foot and he basically said you want an answer you don't always get what you want. I asked well what are gonna do to find out why I was having the issues I was having and he got upset got up and said he is not gonna argue with me and proceed to walk out the room and when I asked to speak to who was in charge he told the nurse to call the security on me. I asked for the person in charge name and number and was told a first I couldn't have it because the person was on vacation. Then the nurse proceeded to tell me to calm down and I wasn't upset like that or making a scene but that made me more angry. I made a complaint and they said this is not the first complaint that he has had like this. The most unprofessional dr ahe racist. I'm calling the board.

I was too quick to judge Dr Ambrosia. I later found information about my cervical spine that he had no way of knowing. I accused him of misdiagnosing me and for that I apologize. Besides he worked me in on a very busy day. He recently sent me an email apologizing and showed a lot of concern. The idea that a doctor would take time to do this really impressed me. I am sorry for being too quick to text. I have nothing but respect for Dr Ambrosia and wouldn’t hesitate to see him again

In less than a minute Dr Ambrosia told me I needed ANOTHER shoulder replacement, this time a reverse shoulder replacement. My neck was stiff and painful. I asked about that and he said it was coming from shoulder. I went to another Dr and come to find out, it is a pinched nerve in my cervical spine. I’ve never seen a Dr in such a hurry to get rid of me. I asked were there any exercises I could do and he arrogantly said “yeah, raise your arms” and walked away.This is how he makes a living!!! What a freaking jerk!!!
