Dr. Jerry Godkin
Houston native Dr. Jerry Godkin attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a BS in Zoology. He then went on to Baylor Dental College for his doctorate in dental surgery and did his residency training in pedodontics at the Children’s Hospital in Dallas. While in dental school, Dr. Godkin married his wife Sandee, and also had the first of five children. In 1971, he started working in his private practice, and is currently still there to help children. Dr. Godkin also attended a 2 year course in orthodontics, and enjoys doing braces. He has in the past served as president of both the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentists. He is also a current member of the ADA, TDA, GHDS, AAPD and the American Academy of Orthodontics. Some of Dr. Godkin’s hobbies include raising Arabian horses, playing golf, and running. His personal goals are to serve his community as best as possible and to serve as a mentor to his 6 …grandchildren.
