Dr Hubbard performed a laminectomy on my lumbar spine in 2015; he was a consummate professional, listened to me, and spent time when it was needed to talk with me. His staff was amazing, especially his anesthesiologist, who LISTENED when it was time for surgery and took care to avoid certain medications I've had trouble with in the past.

Had my wrists operated on for carpel tunnel. Excellent job both times. No problems at all today

Refuses to listen to his patients. Blames patients for poor outcome. Terrible bedside manner. Refuses to be accountable for his own actions. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

In my humble opinion Dr. Hubbard was not only uncaring, but he also appeared arrogant. I am a big guy at 250 lbs, and he sent me for a test, only to find out that my size hindered me from getting the test. Dr. Hubbard should have known this ahead of time, as I doubt that I am his first oversized patient that he sent in for testing. When I returned to get the results, he simply stated, "you're too fat, there is nothing I can do for you until you lose weight." I was there because I was in excruciating pain with my back. The last thing I needed to hear was "there is nothing I can do for you." He could have recommended a nutritionist or any number of things. He then walked out of the room, and I assumed I was "dismissed." I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone!

Highly recommend Dr. Hubbard. He is professional, but compassionate which is a difficult combination to find when you're talking about a surgeon at his level. He listens to you and respects your input regarding certain aspects of your surgery.
