In 2002 Dr. Lorio received the "Selakovich Award", a UAMS faculty teaching award for his total joint replacement surgery techniques taught to UAMS orthopedic residents.
Although he enjoys a well rounded practice in general orthopedics with a specialty interest in joint reconstruction, he treats each patient in a way he would want a member of his family treated.
