Dr. Jerry Lee Lugger, MD

An excellent doctor! Dr. Lugger really takes time with his patients and has excellent bedside manner. He has the experience that you want in a doctor and also the great personality to go with it. He really makes his patients feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Lugger!

The office staff is horrible and I am sure that they have run off many people with their s$#@ attitude. I did some follow up--- THE OFFICE STAFF HAPPENS TO BE HIS WIFE THAT IS WHY SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU TALK TO HIM AND SHE DOES NOT DELIVER ANY MESSAGES TO HIM. SHE IS IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF HIS PRACTICE AND HIM. YOU WILL KNOW HER BECAUSE SHE IS ALWAYS THERE WHEN HE INTERVIEWS YOU .

Dr. Lugger did my hand surgery, and did an amazing job, the scar is beautiful and the best part, my hand is perfect. The surgery was very delicate and required a lot of skill, and he delivered. He's honest, explains everything completely, and a perfectionist. I couldn't be more pleased. He is an exceptional surgeon that I trust completely.. I truly believe he's one of the best.

The nurse or Office manager was terrible. She was supposed to follow up with me in a week and I had to call back after 3 weeks. When I called back she was rude and not helpful at all. The When I asked to speak to Dr. Lugger the Nurse told me I can leave him a message but he probably wont call you back. Doctor's office staff is running off new patients.

I had issues with my hand and was reffered to Dr. Lugger through my primary doctor. Throughout the entire expirience Dr. lugger was great but the office manager is HORRENDOUS, she never calls back she speaks to you as if your an idiot, as well as her office staff and the DOCTOR himself. I was very disappointed hearing that I needed surgery but the doctor assured me everything would be fine and his "nurse" would schedule everything and contact me... do you know how long that took . 5 weeks, not to mention the numerous calling constantly and listening to the office staff have to strain to answer me because they were unable to schedule it for me?? I was so frustrated, and they kept telling/advising they would call back as soon as the office manager scheduled it. Enough said, I went somewhere else.

Top notch surgeon, hand still feels great after months of pain

My problem is with the office staff...not so much with Dr. Lugger. During my appointment his office staff told me that it would take 3 days to hear back from insurance. They did not submit the claim for 10 days and then it took another 3 days for insurance to respond. The office staff would not tell me when the claim had been submitted, I had to get with the insurance company on that. Not pleased with the staff or their attitudes at all!!!

Dr. Lugger's office did not send lab work in for at least 3 days after removal of the speciman. In addition, the receptionist changed her story when 14 days later she said labs were sent in the day after removal. Receptionist also said Dr. Lugger does not call when results are normal, only when they are not normal. Still don't the lab results 14 days after removal because neither the doctor or nurse are available.
