Dr.Rosenberg saved my life several times. Once came into his office stressed out.He calmed me down.Took my blood pressure which was high by end of visit was normal.He spent quality time with me.Whow, no Quick in and out exam. Another time came in with high cholesterol an abnormal sugar. He did complete work up and after several visits values came back to normal withou medications.That was best part No Meds. I highly recommend him. His program saved my life.My all family sees him and so do all my friends.

This doctor apparently also had a PhD in psychology, which I don't see listed here. I don't recall whether a framed degree was displayed in his office. I went to him for therapy with a spiritual bent. However, the man was not only not helpful, but harmful. He would tell me that I was not really physically ill (I had been very sick and in excruciating pain, for 13 years. I was ultimately diagnosed with weaponized Lyme Disease).I had a few visits with him, during my stay in Santa Monica; I was seeing a holistic doctor, who found the Lyme. The arrangement was to continue therapy with Dr. Rosenberg, by phone, once I returned home. We had agreed to this.Unfortunately, he chose to let countertransference get the best of him. When we had our one and only phone session, once I was home, I told him that my health and pain were not improving. He told me that secondary gain was the reason for my continued suffering, and that I had better take a look at that. I have an MSW, so I know exactly what… he was saying. Again, he just gave in to countertransference: the thoughts or impressions that he had about me (apparently, I did not appear sick enough for him). Bottom line, a terrible mental health diagnostician and totally unprofessional. He told me that he would check back with me a month later. I never heard from him again. According to the Social Work Code of Ethics, that is not only unprofessional, but unethical. Proper termination is required. One does not need to be a mental health professional to know how unprofessional his behavior was. The man claims to be spiritual; I learned nothing spiritual from him. Joseph Campbell was all he talked about. Since then, I have healed from Lyme Disease and found a true spiritual path.Sorry to say that in the end, the man was just full of judgmental hot air and countertransference issues. I hope that he has stopped calling himself a therapist and claiming to be of service.
