Great DR, Spends time with me and takes good care of my needs.

My huband and I were blessed enougj to obtain Dr Maag as our Primary Care Physician immediately after he went to work for Kaiser in Hilo.HI. To FINALLY find a knowledgable and compassinate Dr who LISTENS and makes you feel that you are more than just a Medical Record Number who pays a high premium each month was literally an answer to our prayers. Dr Maag is a man ointegrity that has the capability of instilling trust whilhaving a great sense of humor that humanizes him and makes him approachable. With that being stated and simpliflying it to HE IS A GREAT DR. I must state that in my opinionKAISER HAWAII with all their rules and regulations, their drastically understaffed conditions which works their Drs. too many hours and the ridiculously long wait to have some tests and procedures done is taking it' toll on the patients. Flying us from one Island to another while often ill and in pain for what is a comon MRI is barbaric and cruel. There are Imaging Centers Kaiser could use locally… making it much easier on patients but KAISER HI cares more about their cash than medical care. Give brilliant. caring Drs. such as Dr . Maag local and proper resources along with more Staff and they will have a huge positive impact on this Community..God helps us if they do not change
